Photography and Art
Dan Nygren, aka Danny Gren, picked up photography at a quite late stage in his life (in his late 20's) and have from that time had the opportunity to both meet and portray people and places around the world.
Born in Sweden in 1976 but had his first few years in Papua New Guinea before scattering around Sweden with his parents and brother until his teens. Then off to east Africa before residing in Stockholm in the late 90's which has been the starting point of each adventure since.
Dan Nygren is continuously traveling through meetings with different people, cities and nature. The contrasts of which he always tries to bring back into the next photo.
Since 2005 he has had a diverse take on photography but always focused on either people or places. As a result he has in his mind created "alternative realities" between the different sessions which resulted in an exhibition in late 2011. The full exhibition can be seen "Art".
